Activities
The Lara's home and the little village of San Agustinillo is a great place to get away from it all and just do nothing! In the house there are hammocks and gardens to relax in and a second floor deck where you can watch wonderful sunrises and sunsets. Or cross the street and walk onto one of the most beautiful beaches in the world to swim, walk or just collect shells. But if you need a little more excitement, don't worry there are other things to do and see.
To Name a Few.
Fishing... the boats leave every morning and the prices vary depending on the length of your trip but Bernardino will hook you up with the package that is right for you.
Boat tours of the coast which includes snorkeling, watching the dolphins swim all around you, and swimming with the turtles!
The Turtle Museum, located in Mazunte, one mile north of San Angustinillo and is a 20 minute walk (or the Lara's will give you a ride)! You can find more information about this museum on the San Agustinillo website -

Shopping. Besides the vendors on the beach that walk by and offer you jewelry, hammocks, food and more, there is a tiny market on the streets of Mazunte right outside the Turtle museum.

Day trip to Huatulco or Puerto Escondido... The Laras will take you to either city, one east of them, the other west. Both have great markets with art pieces, clothes and more. They have also discovered several restaurants in both cities that serve wonderful authentic Mexican food and great margaritas.
Golf.... The city of Huatulco has one of the best golf courses in Mexico by the sea, Campo de Golf Tangolunda.
Cooking Classes..... In June of 2007, Bernardino and Lisa were the guest chefs at The Culinary Center of Kansas City . They taught an interactive cooking course with four of their favorite recipes. The class was sold out and a huge success. If you'd like to learn some of Bernardino's recipes and cooking secrets while you are on vacation, Bernardino will be glad to help you.
